Today Phil talks about the value of intercessory prayer, especially in the community of truth. His main point: Any obstacle on earth can be moved by the hand of God. Any person who can figure out how to move the hand of God in prayer, and can stand up for others, becomes a very powerful person. After surveying multiple intercessors in the Bible, he addresses four types of people in relation to prayer and explains why we must redouble our efforts. We learned from the example of Amos that even one person with a short prayer can be an intercessor.
